Interests: Art, Animation, Digital Graphics.

From an early age, Alex has shown great talent and passion for drawing and video games. Many of his days were spent drawing and feeding his knowledge of the new digital world. Alex developed his natural attention to details and soon dreamed of working in video games as they provided so many entertaining years for him. Starting at a young age, Alex began to teach himself various skills and techniques both digitally and traditionally.

Since childhood Alex has always enjoyed drawing. It was only recently that he started to draw more seriously and constantly. Once Alex had experienced the world of 3D in high school he was instantly taken in. Alex has continued his pursuit of the digital arts since high school and valiantly kept up with his traditional drawings in this digital era. During his high school years Alex attended Langara College and completed a 3D Animator Certificate program with high honors. By the end of Alex’s high school years he had compiled a large amount of certificates from inside and outside of classes. Alex later attended the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts for programs in animation.

With his current completion of the BCIT Digital Animation program with distinction, Alex plans to continue to increase his knowledge by learning from industry professionals. He has been told his animation skills were top-notch and his drawings were of great quality. Having taken courses in many of the industry standard software, as well as learning a variety of programs on his own, Alex has started his way to creating what he enjoy most, video games. Growing up with computers since Alex could walk; He’s always had the interest in how motion pictures grasped his imagination. From the 2D drawings of The Lion King to the amazing visual effects of Transformers, Alex constantly increased his interests in computer graphics.

Alex currently is pursuing to increase his digital skill set by attending AnimationMentor, an online school dedicated to teaching digital animation. Through this unique course, Alex will be able to work with industry professionals to further his knowledge of digital arts.
